Jamie Dawson is the owner of Dawson Property Inventory and Property Report Management Services (PRMS), two companies started with a vision: enhancing the quality of property inventory services across the UK.

Jamie's entry into the business as a franchisee of a nationally accredited inventory firm that positioned itself as a market leader in the sector was true to the marketing rather a long way from it. Franchisees were being taken for a ride, mis-sold, and ultimately let down. Pricing terms were top-down imposed, pushing franchisees to volume-based, low-quality reports. Accuracy, professionalism, or client service were not concerns, invoice generation was.

Even worse, the dishonesty was not limited to the franchisees. Clients were also misled as business-as-usual, with poor reports masquerading as professional, dishonesty, and skimping culture being the order of the day in the company's operations.

Not wishing to be a part of such a system, Jamie walked away. He started his own firms to disrupt the establishment and rebuild trust in the business, starting with a commitment to getting it right.
